A permit must be obtained prior to' <br /> initiating any activity, including excavation and construction, removal or planting <br /> 4! of landscaping within floodways;levees, and 10 feet landward of the landside <br /> levee toes. The permit contains 12 , <br /> standard conditions and additional special conditions may be placed on the <br /> permit as the situation warrants.
