Phase One includes the construction of ground mount solar panels <br /> encompassing 1.0 acre of the existing 10.0 acre parcel. Phase Two includes an expansion of ground mount solar panels to <br /> encompass a total of 2.0 acres. This is an unmanned facility. The project site will include a switchyard to connect to existing <br /> transmission lines to the ground mount units. This parcel is not under a Williamson Act contract. The Property is zoned AG- <br /> 40(General Agriculture,40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture). <br /> PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located on the north side of Verigin Road, 1,125 feet east of S. State Route 99 E. <br /> Frontage Road, north of Manteca. (APN/Address: 197-120-02; 5741 E.Verigin Road, Manteca) (Supervisorial District 3) <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study <br /> and proposed Negative Declaration are available at the Community Development Department. <br /> APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the <br /> Community Development Department no later than February 25, 2014. Comments or recommendations received after that <br /> date would not be used in staffs analysis and recommendation for this application.
