Phase One includes the construction of ground mount solar panels encompassing 1.0 acre of the existing 10.0 acre parcel. Phase Two includes an expansion of ground mount solar panels to encompass a total of 2.0 acres. This is an unmanned facility. The project site will include a switchyard to connect to existing transmission lines to the ground mount units. This parcel is not under a Williamson Act contract. The Property is zoned AG- 40(General Agriculture,40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located on the north side of Verigin Road, 1,125 feet east of S. State Route 99 E. Frontage Road, north of Manteca. (APN/Address: 197-120-02; 5741 E.Verigin Road, Manteca) (Supervisorial District 3) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration are available at the Community Development Department. APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the Community Development Department no later than February 25, 2014. Comments or recommendations received after that date would not be used in staffs analysis and recommendation for this application.
