Where necessary data has been supplemented by information collected at private sources <br /> such as universities and research institutions. <br /> EPA Radon Zones: Sections 307&309 of IRAA directed EPA to list and identify areas of U.S.with the potential for <br /> elevated indoor radon levels. <br /> OTHER <br /> Epicenters: World earthquake epicenters,Richter 5 or greater <br /> Source: Department of Commerce,National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration <br /> California Earthquake Fault Lines: The fault lines displayed on EDP's Topographic map are digitized quaternary fault lines, <br /> prepared in 1975 by the United State Geological Survey.
