Does the property discharge waste water, on or adjacent to the property other than storm water into a <br /> sanitary sewer system? <br /> The reference to waste water does not include domestic sewage. The owner and each occupant should <br /> identify the locations of drain traps (sewer/storm drain locations), where they lead and. the purpose of <br /> any drainage pipes at the facility. Any ditches or streams on or adjacent to the property should be <br /> identified. <br /> Some jurisdictions require facilities with large roof or paved areas and construction sites to collect and <br /> divert runoff through a treatment process prior to discharging the stormwater runoff to municipal, <br /> separate storm sewer systems, or the waters of the United States. Such units are often called stormwater <br /> treatment systems. Oil-water separators are most often found outside a building under a manhole and <br /> require routine servicing to remove oil. Oil-water separators are usually in restaurants, repair garages, <br /> and service stations.
