FACILITY INSPECTION REPORT -6- MUSCO FAMILY OLIVE COMPANY SAN JOAOU1N COUNTY noticed a flexible hose extending from the eucalyptus grove to the 55 East Field sump. Hall reported that wastewater from the sump is pumped to the eucalyptus grove. SAMPLING LABORATORY RESULTS: Tables 3 identifies the locations of water samples collected during my inspection and Table 4 summarizes the samples' laboratory analytical results. Sample 3, water in the altered streambed below the first sump inspected ,in 55 West, shows increases in chloride, sodium, TOC, nitrogen, iron, manganese, alkalinity, and phosphorus. Sample 2, water in the drainage near the culvert under 1-580, shows further increases in waste constituents, especially sodium, TOC, ammonia, iron, manganese, and alkalinity. These results, plus the physical evidence of erosion channels originating at runoff collection sumps to drainages, document the discharge of wastewater to the drainage in violation of the WDRs Order No. R5-2002-0148, Discharge Prohibition A.1.
