Musco Family Olive Company - 4 - 12 December 2006 i <br /> the western boundary and well MW-15 is located at the base of Field 55 West, adjacent to the <br /> Reservoir. Field 55 has been utilized as a spray application field since 1991. <br /> Field 95 is the largest spray field in the land application system. Field 95 is located in the <br /> upland area south of the Reservoir and is also characterized as a steep sided hillside. <br /> Monitoring wells MW-1 (up-gradient) and MW-13 (down-gradient) are located in Field 95. <br /> Field 95 has been utilized as a spray application field since 1997. <br /> South Ridge (SR) East/West spray field is located across the mid-slope and lowlands area <br /> south of the Musco processing facility and makes up the southern boundary of the site. The <br /> SR East/West field is also a topographic high and is characterized by steep sided hillsides. . <br /> Well MW-6 is located near the southern property boundary and well MW-9 is located north of <br /> SR East/West. SR has been utilized as a spray application field since 1994. <br /> Check 1-4 is located in the lowland area and makes up the southeastern property boundary of <br /> the site. It is characterized as flat, fallow land that is no longer-used for spray application of <br /> wastewater. Check 1-4 bounds the adjacent property to the South where the Hansen Well is <br /> located. Check 1-4 was utilized for spray application since 1994. <br /> Evap North, South, East, and West are located in the lowland area adjacent to the Title 27 <br /> surface impoundments. These fields are characterized as flat. Evap north and Evap east are <br /> no longer used for spray irrigation. Evap north contains the Musco facility septic system. <br /> These fields have been utilized for spray application since 2000. <br /> Spur North and North 18 are located north of the Musco facility and are characterized as flat to <br /> gently rolling fields. Park West and Pasture are located near the western boundary of the <br /> Musco facility. These fields have been utilized for spray application since 2000. <br /> 84 Million Gallon Reservoir <br /> The 84 million gallon Reservoir began impounding wastewater in January 2003. Musco <br /> proposed to install a 2-foot-thick liner system consisting of native clay soils to achieve a <br /> permeability of equal to or less than 10-6 cm/s. The liner system and its construction have not <br /> been certified by a registered professional. The spillway elevation of the Reservoir is 352 feet <br /> above mean sea level (amsl). The water surface area is 15.9 acres at normal operating <br /> capacity.
