` INTRODUCTION <br /> The purpose of this project is to divide a 0.33 acre parcel into 2 parcels. In accordance with the U"L) <br /> ., San Joaquin County Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report <br /> (SSCR) is being submitted for application with the tentative map. This report will investigate the <br /> property for visual or historical environmental contamination based on field observation and <br /> W, testimony from the owners. <br /> Proiect Description <br /> The consists of one parcel located at 716 S. Wagner Avenue, Stockton. The project is in <br /> a residential are . It is zoned R-L. The site has one home. See tentative map included in the <br /> .. ap <br /> The project,when completed, will contain a future homesite. <br /> Project History <br /> The primary source of information on the historical use of the property is testimony from the <br /> owners and records from the County(San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office <br /> and the San Joaquin County Contaminated Site List). The Colombini family has owned the <br /> �- property since 1954. This property and all surrounding properties have had consistent uses in the <br /> time the Colombini's have owned the prgperty. Consistant uses include residential development. 62. <br /> A review of County Records for the past four years (see Apendix)yielded no chemical use on <br /> the property. The property has not been farmed by the present owners. It has been residential (Z :.1) <br /> since at least 1954. <br /> Field Investieation <br /> The following information was obtained during a field investigation of the site as well as <br /> interviewing the property owners. The field investigation and interview occurred in March, <br /> 2004. <br /> This site has one home on it and the site contains no septic system or leach field. Also, there are <br /> no wells. The area has public sewer and water. <br /> According to the owner, there are no buried tanks on the property. There are no visual signs of <br /> ` any such tanks (ground settling, irregular ground, etc.) (7 <br /> As previously stated,the site has not been farmed for at least 50 years. Chemicals have not been (3 3> <br /> 6„ used in that time frame. l <br /> The depth to groundwater in this vicinity is approximately 50 feet. <br /> According to the land owner, there are no known pesticide containers buried on the property. A <br /> visual inspection did not produce any evidence of buried containers.
