The previous <br /> use of the property is discussed in the staff report under 'Property History.' The uses proposed for the <br /> one-acre site and its existing building are minor marine repair, a boat hauling business, and boat storage. <br /> Only the owner would be permitted to make the requested minor marine repairs, and those activities <br /> would only be permitted inside the building. There would be no 'live-aboards' permitted on boats being <br /> kept at the site. In addition, there would be a maximum of 17 boats permitted on the site, and a limit <br /> would be placed on the number of days that boats under repair or in transit could be kept on the site. <br /> The existing mobile home on the property, which is currently in use by the property owner, is proposed <br /> to be removed within three months.
