(3) The following handicapped parking standards shall also apply. A. A minimum of eleven (11) parking spaces shall be provided, including one van accessible space. The accessible space shall be located as close as possible to the primary entrance (C.C.R.,Title 24). B. Provide identification signs for the accessible parking space, including the "tow away" sign, at each entrance or visible from each space(C.C.R.,Title 24). C. The slope of each parking space shall not exceed '/4 inch per foot(C.C.R.,Title 24). f. LOADING: One (1) loading space shall be provided. The space shall be a minimum of 25 feet in length and 15 feet in width and shall have a minimum height clearance of 14 feet. On-site driveways and maneuvering areas may be used in lieu of the loading space as long as maneuvering areas for delivery vehicles are provided. (Development Title Section 1015.6) g. LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be installed. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g]) (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. This project shall comply with the County's light and glare performance standards. Lighting plans prepared by an electrical engineer, or other lighting professional approved by the Director, shall be submitted with the Site Plans. (Development Title Section 1025.6) h. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) A minimum ten (10) foot wide landscaped strip, respecting the ultimate right-of-way widths of Washington Street and Adrienne Avenue, shall be installed across the frontage of the project site. (Development Title Section 9-1020.8) (2) All areas not used for buildings, parking, driveways, walkways, approved outdoor storage areas, or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. (Development Title Section 9-1020.8) (3) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from traffic and kept mowed and dust free (4) The parking area shall be landscaped as specified in Section 9-1020.5 of the Development Title. The parking area shall be provided with a minimum of five percent(5%)of landscaping within the perimeter of the parking area, not including landscaping along the street frontage. Two(2)trees shall be planted and evenly spaced throughout the parking lot. i. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) All storage of materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, shall be enclosed by a screen six (6) to eight (8) feet in height. Items stored within one hundred (100) feet of a dedicated street or residential zone shall not be stacked higher than two (2) feet above the adjacentscreen.
