-2-
On April 14, 1998,the Board of Supervisors approved a three-year time extension for Minor
Subdivision Application No. MS-93-134,to expire on February 28, 2001. At that time, the
Subdivision Map Act provided for a time extension for a maximum of three years. The Map Act
and the San Joaquin County Development Title now allow for time extensions for a period or
periods of time not to exceed a total of five years.
REASON FOR RCOMMENDATION
The applicant is requesting an additional 2 years to complete phasing of the subdivision for the
last 5 lots. Phase 1 for five lots was recorded in December 1997 and Phase I I for three lots was
recorded in March 2001. No letters of opposition have been received. This application has been
referred to the Board of Supervisors because the Board, on appeal, upheld the Planning
Commission's approval of the Minor Subdivision application.
A legal ad for the public hearing was published in the Stockton Record on March 30, 2001, and
23 public hearing notices were mailed on March 26, 2001.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
ACTION TO BE TAKEN FOLLOWING APPROVAL:
None.
Sincerely,
BEN HULSE
DIRECTOR
BH:CTM:ss
Enc.
C: Joe Budiselich
Dan Navone
