No ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION USE ADDITIONAL PAPER, IF NECESSARY Water,Drainage and Flooding Describe any areas subject to flooding(include flood depths and flood panel map number): The flood panel map number for the project site is 06077CO395F.The project site is mapped as Zone X by FEMA,which is the designation assigned to areas outside the 0.2-percent annual chance flood plain(i.e.,the 500-year flood plain).The nearest area designated as Zone AE,for areas within the 1- ercent annual chance(100-year)flood plain is along the Calaveras River,located about 2.8 miles to the north-northwest. Describe the current depth of the ground water and depth to potable water: Groundwater data from the California Groundwater Information Center Interactive Map Application indicates that the depthto groundwater at the si is greater than too feet below the existing ground surface. Describe any existing drainage courses or eroded areas on or near the project site(e.g.rivers,creeks,swales or drainage d itches): There are no drainages or other waterways within the project site boundary.A wetland Swale is located southwest of the project site boundary, running in a northwest-to-southwesterly direction. Land, Land Use and Biota Describe the site's topography(e.g.land forms, slopes, etc.): The project site contains some man-made topographic features due to excavation and movement of soil since 2006.However,it is relatively flat,with soil slopes of approximately 0-15%.Surrounding lands are hilly and topographically diverse,covered in mainly non-native annual grassland and open land used for razin . Describe agricultural land that will be lost as a result of the project(type of crops,acres,quality of soil,etc.): The project site does not support agricultural uses or any crops.The site does not contain any Prime or Unique Farmland,nor does it contain Farmland of Statewide or Local Importance and it is not under a Williamson Act Contract. The site,however,is unlikely to support special-status plants due to disturbed soils and a lack of woodland,forest,or scrub.Special-status wildlife species with a moderate potential to occur on-site include Burrowing Owl,California horned lark,California tiger salamander,and western spadefoot load. Describe any vegetation on-site by type and extent: The project site mainly consists of disturbed/excavated areas,with a lack of vegetation,and non-native annual grassland.No special-status plants were observed in the project site during the site visit,and it is unlikely that any exist due to a lack of appropriate habitat. Air Quality Describe air pollutants that may result from the project(e.g.construction related dust,vehicle trips per day,fire places, incinerators, etc.): The project site will experience construction related dust during construction phase from vehicle travel on the site and equipment installation.There will be approximately 2 vehicle trips per day for 7-10 vehicles for the duration of the construction phase.
