Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. The EIR 89-7 did not identify mitigation measures for the coexistence of the agricultural <br /> chemical facility and the previously proposed subdivision. An amended EIR shall be <br /> prepared to address this concern. <br /> B. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to <br /> recordation of Final Map(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A <br /> nitrate loading study is required, and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> C. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP)and nitrates prior to recordation of the Final Map. Samples are to be taken and <br /> analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.7). <br /> NOTE: <br /> Due to chemical contamination of the groundwater and high groundwater in the area,EHD <br /> may require a package treatment plant or civil engineer designed septic systems with <br /> denitrification cycles in the systems based upon the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> findings. <br /> D. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s)under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section <br /> 9-1110.3 &9-1110.4). <br />
