Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. A. The EIR 89-7 did not identify mitigation measures for the coexistence of the agricultural chemical facility and the previously proposed subdivision. An amended EIR shall be prepared to address this concern. B. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of Final Map(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required, and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. C. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP)and nitrates prior to recordation of the Final Map. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- 1115.7). NOTE: Due to chemical contamination of the groundwater and high groundwater in the area,EHD may require a package treatment plant or civil engineer designed septic systems with denitrification cycles in the systems based upon the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study findings. D. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s)under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 &9-1110.4).
