Water from the existing well at the residence(3212 Woodson Road),was previously tested for <br /> DBCP and Nitrates. The tests were satisfactory. <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM REPAIR <br /> Records at the Environmental Health Department of San Joaquin County were searched for <br /> repairs on Woodson Road. The search revealed 5 locations on Woodson Road for repair. One of <br /> the five was for a new system,the remaining four were for the addition of one 40' line and one pit. <br /> Soil description was clay or hardpan. <br /> SEPTIC TANK AND LEACH FIELD: <br /> Development of the on-site septic system is to conform to the Environmental Health Division standards of the Public <br /> Health Department ofSon Joaquin County. A gravity sewer system will serve one single family residence. A standar <br /> structurally sound and waterproof, 1600 gallon, two compartment tank*is recommended. <br /> The use of a garbage disposal requires periodic inspection of the tank more often than normal use without a disposal. <br /> gravity effluent filter should be installed with riser to the surface and sealed lid This provides easy access to inspect <br /> and clean the filter every two years or as indicated by periodic inspection The 4"Biotube Eluent Filter by OSI. or <br /> equal, is recommended. Installation,by permit from EBD of SJ County, is to be in <br /> accordance with Standards in affect at the time of installation. <br /> HOME OWNER HELPS <br /> Included last in this report are tips for the home owner. Maintenance is required on any on site <br /> septic system. The system that has no maintenance will eventually fail. Also included is a fact <br /> sheet for a typical effluent filter with riser to grade.' <br />
