� v <br /> SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY REPORT <br /> SITE LOCATION: PA#: 0900141 <br /> 3552 West Yosemite Avenue, Lathrop Report Date: April 25,2010 <br /> 1. INTRODUCTION& PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> This report is for the 3552 West Yosemite Avenue, Lathrop site. The main purposes is to change <br /> the occupancy of the existing residential house to commercial occupancy and add truck parking <br /> area. The truck parking area is the main development on this site of 1.5 acres. The parking area <br /> and driveway to have 2 inches of asphalt concrete over 6 inches of gravel over 80% compacted <br /> base. A site plane drawing is attached showing vicinity map, existing structure, driveway, well, <br /> septic system, retention basin and parking area etc. <br /> 2. PRESENT AND PAST USES OF THE SITE: <br /> In the past, the site was used as an agricultural orchard. In 1978, a house was constructed and <br /> since then untill now, it was used as a residence. Now, it is proposed to be developed for truck <br /> parking use. <br /> 3. EXISTNG AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE: J <br /> The existing.septic system has a pre cast concrete septic tank with 1200 glalleons capacity, that <br /> has 5'x 9.2' x 5' size with 54 " liquid depth and two (2) compartments-11 as installed in 1978, <br /> permit no. 78-74 date issued 2-4-78. It has been and is functioning well on this site with sandy <br /> loam soil for the last 32 years without any repairs. As a matter of fact, the septic systems work <br /> well in this neighborhood due to the sandy loam soil and very little use due to trucking <br /> businesses in this area of Light Industrial Zoning. The copy of the Permit No. 78-74 is attached <br /> herewith for information. <br /> The proposed truck parking uses will have less inflow than exiting residential use. In the truck <br /> parking, the drivers park their ticks and leave the site as soon as possible. There are no future <br /> plans proposed or expected to increase the septic tank use in this Light Industrial Zone site. <br /> 4. GROUNWATER INFORMATION: <br /> The groundwater in the area is good. The depth of the groundwater fluctuates from 20' to 50; / <br /> depth depends on weather and rains in area. There is!one well ok site that was constructed in <br /> 1978 under Permit No. 78-266 dated 2-22-78. The copy of this permit is attached herewith. <br /> On this site of,3552�-West Yosemite Avenue, APN"# 241-400-08, the well water analyses was <br /> performed on 4-19-10 for E: Coli, Nitriles and 1,2-Dibromo-3-chloropropane and 1,2- <br /> Dibromoethene{El) % . Chain of Custody as well as the result of analyses are attached herewith <br /> for information. <br /> 1 <br />
