Comments: <br /> Routine waste tire inspection done on this date and the following was noted: <br /> 1.)Violation T14 CCR 17354-Observed pile of waste tires containing more than 499 waste tires stored along <br /> the southern perimeter fence/wall. <br /> a. Tire storage piles containing 500 or more waste tires shall be located at least 50 feet from lot lines and <br /> buildings. <br /> b. Either contact local fire authority and obtain approval for current waste tire storage, or adjust storage of waste <br /> tires so that waste tire piles containing more than 499 waste tires are located at least 50 feet from lot lines or <br /> buildings. <br /> 2.)Violation T14 CCR 17354(f) -Observed waste tire pile containing more than 499 waste tires stored on <br /> grass/vegetation. <br /> a. Waste tires piles shall be separated from combustible ground vegetation and stored used tires, by a distance <br /> of at least 40 feet. <br /> b. Alter storage of waste tires, so that waste tires are no longer stored on combustible vegetation and near <br /> stored used tires. <br /> 3. A/C 14 CCR 17353 (a)-Observed waste tires with water and algae growing inside. <br /> a.)All waste tires shall be stored in a manner which prevents the breeding and harborage of mosquitos, rodents, <br /> and other vectors. <br /> b.) Remove water from the waste tires and cover the waste tires with impermeable barriers. <br /> Notes: <br /> 1.)Waste tires are stored on the southern side of the facility. 82 waste tires and 384 improperly store tires were <br /> counted directly. 1 pile located in the southern perimeter fence/wall measured 241 x 22'W x 4'H. The tires were <br /> loosely stored. The resulting PTE calculation for this pile with a 20% reduction was 625.8. The total waste tire <br /> count for the facility was 82 + 384 +625.8 = 1091.8 (1092). <br /> 2.) Permission to conduct inspection was granted by Ray Raza (Manager). <br /> 3.)TPID certificate is posted behind the front counter. <br /> 4.) Manifest were on site and available for review during inspection. <br /> 5.) Retain all was tire receipts, logs, and manifests for 3 years. <br /> 6.) Facility only stores its waste tires at this location. <br /> 7.) Complete attached Waste Tire Facility Permit Exclusion Notification form and mail to CalRecycle. <br /> 8.) Rights and Responsibility Related to your Notice of Violation form attached and emailed to facility. <br /> 9.) Inspection report emailed to cherokeetirelodi@gmail.com. <br /> *Re-inspection will occur on or after January 27, 2017.All violations must be corrected by this date. <br />
