El Dorado St. (APN 14906401). <br /> The Environmental Health Department (EHD) conducted a waste tire inspection on June 17, <br /> 2010 at 410 S. El Dorado St. (APN 14906401). It was revealed that the business, Economy <br /> Tires, was no longer in operation and that there were approximately 50 waste tires still on site. <br /> Waste tires are defined as solid waste in the Public Resources Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code. Waste tires cannot be stored so that they are allowed to collect water which <br /> can lead to the breeding and harborage of vectors. It is a violation to store solid waste on the <br /> surface of the ground. Failure to remove solid waste in a timely manner, once each calendar <br /> week, or 7 days, is also a violation. You are in violation of the following San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code Sections: <br /> 1. San Joaquin County Ordinance Code (SJCO),Title 5, Division 2, Chapter 4 <br /> a. Section 5-2400;Accumulation of refuse,waste, and filth is prohibited <br /> b. Section 5-2401; Disposal on premises <br /> c. Chapter 6, Section 5-2600; Disposal area permit required. <br /> The transport and disposal of waste tires must be done in accordance with Public Resource <br /> Code: <br /> 1. Public Resources Code, Division 30, Chapter 19 (PRC) 42951 — Waste Tire Hauler <br /> Registration and Transport of Tires <br /> a. Every person who engages in the transportation of 10 or more waste or used <br /> tires shall hold a valid waste and used tire hauler registration. <br /> Page 1 of 2 June 21,2010 <br />
