Preliminary investigations of the <br /> site suitability for waste water percolation ponds were performed by Vector <br /> Engineering, Inc. (1993) <br /> VECTOR ENGINEERING, INC. (1993) <br /> • Logged soils by excavation of test pits and borings. <br /> • Characterized the hydrogeologic properties of on-site soils. <br /> • Performed laboratory analysis on characteristic site soils. <br /> • Determined groundwater flow direction and gradient on the site. <br /> • Calculated potential groundwater mounding under percolation ponds. <br /> CONCLUSIONS (VECTOR, 1993) <br /> • Current groundwater level in the pond area ranges from "14" to "16" ft <br /> (elevation of-1.0 to -3.0 feet) below existing ground surface. <br /> • The site appears to be quite suitable for its proposed use as a land <br /> disposal for treated waste water. <br />
