EI Dorado St., Stockton <br />Program: HW <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />ROUTINE HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR INSPECTION <br />"Inspection conducted on April 25, 2011. Report completed on April 26, 2011. Checklist left on site at <br />time of inspection. Violation #85 has been changed to 83. <br />Class II violations: (18, 20, 30, 32) <br />18. A 30 gallon steel drum of waste grease was observed with an accumulation start date of July 27, <br />2010. Facilities who generate 1000 kg or more of hazardous waste per month and or exceed 6000 kg of <br />waste stored on site at any time may not store waste on site for longer than 90 days. Immediately <br />contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of <br />the manifest to the EHD by May 26, 2011. REPEAT VIOLATION <br />20. A 55 gallon black steel drum of waste oil was observed with only the contents labeled. A 30 gallon <br />yellow steel drum of spent absorbent was observed with no hazardous property or accumulation start <br />date. A 30 gallon green steel drum of spent absorbent was observed without a label. A 15 gallon drum <br />of used oil was observed with only the words "hazardous waste." All hazardous waste containers shall <br />be marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties (flammable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br />4. physical state (liquid, solid) <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br />information. Since it cannot be determined how long these wastes have been on site, immediately <br />contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of <br />the manifest to the EHD by May 26, 2011. REPEAT VIOLATION <br />30. Three empty 55 gallon drums used for temporary diesel and used oil storage were observed in Bay 1 <br />with no labeling. Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be <br />marked as empty, with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. <br />Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section.
