Under the law, it does not matter whether the property owner/operator brought <br /> the waste tires on site, allowed others to bring the tires on site or the tires were <br /> brought on site without permission, such as from illegal dumping. In all cases, <br /> the property owner and/or operator are required to remove the tires. <br /> Please be advised that if the waste tires are not removed within 30 days of <br /> receipt of this letter, the issue will be forwarded to the CIWMB for further <br /> enforcement which may include the issuance of a Clean-up &Abatement <br /> Order setting deadlines and penalties.
