Based on conversation with facility personnel, maintenance on the refrigeration system generates waste oil that is <br /> hauled off site by the contracted company performing the maintenance activity. Additionally, the ammonia in the <br /> refrigeration system was stated to be 6,500 pounds and is over the threshold quantity for the CaIARP program. <br /> This information must be current and submitted as part of the business plan. <br /> Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http-.//cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct <br /> and update information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> #5 HSC 25505(a)(1) Failed to complete and/or submit hazardous materials inventory for all reportable materials on <br /> site <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The quantity of ammonia was under reported in the hazardous materials inventory. According to facility <br /> personnel, the accurate amount of ammonia on site is 6,500 pounds. <br /> This information must be current and submitted as part of the business plan. <br /> Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct <br /> or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> OVERALL NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> This report is a hazardous materials business plan (HMBP) compliance review without an inspection. An HMBP inspection <br /> was conducted on 8/8/19.
