do a <br /> WORK PLAN—May 30,2008 <br /> Project Site <br /> The site lies between the City of Lodfs White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility on the <br /> east,and the existing NCPA Combustion Turbine Project#2 on the west. The following outlines <br /> the environmental and geotechnical studies proposed for the project property. <br /> Please see attached map. <br /> Project Description <br /> The purpose of this study will be to evaluate the subsurface conditions for the planned <br /> improvements and to confirm the design criteria appropriate for the encountered conditions.The <br /> main objectives of the study are to characterize the subsurface materials,perform engineering <br /> analyses,develop geotechnical recommendations and criteria to be used for design and <br /> construction,and to document our findings,conclusions and recommendations in geotechnical <br /> study reports. <br /> Project Scope <br /> Field exploration,for Monday June,2 2008,is to include 7 Cone Penetrometer Test <br /> (CPT)borings to a depth of approximately 50 feet each. <br /> Please see attached map. <br />
