MICHAEL A. VANDER DUSSEN, R.G., C.E.G. <br /> Senior Project Engineering Geologist <br /> Mr. Vander Dussen has more than 30 years experience performing geologic <br /> studies, hydrogeologic evaluations, and environmental assessments for <br /> properties located an the western and eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, as <br /> well as throughout northern California. Mr. Vander Dussen has performed <br /> geotechnical engineering studies, designed waste water disposal systems, <br /> conducted geologic hazard studies,and prepared erosion control plans for more <br /> than twenty school sites located in EI Dorado County. He has also supervised <br /> deep, hard rock drilling operations for the installation of both potable water <br /> supply wells and ground water monitoring wells and prepared mine <br /> reclamation plans according to California SMARA requirements for gravel and <br /> hard rock mine sites. <br /> Mr. Vander Dussen has performed Phase I environmental assessments for <br /> properties of various land use and intensity,including such varied properties as <br /> historic mines,former wholesale nurseries,fruit tree orchards,and properties in <br /> predominantly urban settings. Many of these Phase I assessments have required <br /> follow-up soil and ground water investigative work. Mr.Vander Dussen is also <br /> adept at performing both Phase II and site remediation work.
