INTERCONNECTION FACILITIES STUDY AGREEMENT,ATTACHMENT C <br /> LODI ENERGY CENTER <br /> 9.1 Transmission Line Evaluation <br /> 9.1.1 Interconnection Facilities <br /> The transmission line evaluation provides the work scope and cost <br /> estimate for any required transmission line work from the project to the <br /> Point of Interconnection (POI). Since the IC will design and construct <br /> the generator tie line, there will be no transmission line Interconnection <br /> Facilities. <br /> 9.1.2 Network Upgrades <br /> The transmission line evaluation will provide the work scope and cost <br /> estimates for any required transmission line work that is beyond the <br /> POI. This includes but is not limited to: <br /> • Mitigation for any transmission lines overloaded by the Project <br /> 9.2 Substation Evaluation <br /> 9.2.1 Interconnection Facilities <br /> The substation evaluation will provide the work scope and cost <br /> estimate for any required substation work from the project to the POI. <br /> The interconnection shall incorporate the required relaying asspecified <br /> in the PG&E interconnection handbook per Section G2.1. Note that <br /> there is a redundancy requirement for the application of multifunction <br /> relays. This includes but is not limited to: <br /> • Perform pre-parallel inspection,testing, SCADA, EMS setup, <br /> Maintenance, etc. <br /> 9.2.2 Network Upgrades <br /> The substation evaluation will provide the work scope and cost <br /> estimates for any required substation work that is beyond the POI of <br /> the Project. This includes but is not limited to: <br /> e Complying with System Protection Requirements <br /> • Install SPSs if allowed under CAISO Planning Standards to <br /> mitigate any Category"C emergency overloads <br />
