Ms. Lawson served as an <br /> Archaeology Technician for Phase III Data Recovery of a <br /> small historic site. Duties included unit excavation,feature <br /> excavation, dry screening and creating side wall profiles. <br /> Fort Irwin Expansion,Baker and Barstow, CA. June 2002 <br /> through September 2002. Client: Department of the Army, <br /> Fort Irwin, CA. Ms. Lawson served as an Archaeology <br /> Technician and performed Section 106 Phase I surveys of <br /> BLM land near Fort Irwin,CA. She also assisted in site <br /> recordation of several prehistoric and historical sites as well <br /> as limited Extended Phase I surveys,including surface <br /> collection. This survey of approximately 24,000 acres was <br /> conducted to supplement previous surveys related to the <br /> expansion of the National Training Center at Fort Irwin. <br /> Archaeological Data Recovery Excavation at CA-ORA-269, <br /> Irvine, CA. May 2002 through June 2002 and November <br /> 2002 through December 2002. Client: The Irvine Company, <br /> Irvine, CA. Ms. Lawson conducted data recovery at <br /> archaeological site CA-ORA-269,within the Planning Area <br /> 27(PA 27) project boundaries,located in the western portion <br /> of the San Joaquin Hills in Irvine, California. Ten percent of <br /> the site,2001x1 m units,was excavated prior to burying the <br /> site for construction purposes. Ms. Lawson served as an <br /> Archaeology Technician and was responsible for unit <br /> excavation,feature excavation,water screen,and laboratory <br /> work. <br /> Muddy Canyon,Newport Beach, CA. May 2002. Client: The <br /> Irvine Company,Irvine, CA. Ms. Lawson served as an <br /> Archaeology Technician and was responsible for unit <br /> excavation at CA-ORA-934. <br /> The Rise,Farmington,New Mexico. April 2001. Ms. Lawson <br /> served as Field Crew for the survey,mapping, and surface <br /> collection of a small multicomponent site (early prehistoric <br /> Anasazi through late historic Navajo). <br />
