Phase I Environmental Site Assessment <br /> • California Department of Conservation <br /> California Office of Emergency Services <br /> • San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> • San Joaquin County Agricultural Commission <br /> 2.1.2 Significant Assumptions <br /> According to information provided by the Client,the property is intended to be used for construction and <br /> operation of power generation facilities. <br /> 2.2 LIMITATIONS AND EXCEPTIONS OF ASSESSMENT <br /> 2.2.1 Special Terms and Conditions <br /> No limiting factors were identified at the Site at the time of the site visit that prevented a thorough <br /> observation of the ground surface of the property except where vegetation,gravel,structures,stored <br /> building materials asphaltic concrete or Portland cement concrete slabs covered the soil surface. The <br /> property was inspected by a walk-through of the accessible areas to characterize the ground conditions at <br /> the Site. <br /> 2.2.2 User Reliance <br /> This report has been prepared by Carlton under the professional supervision of the Senior Partner(s)and <br /> senior staff whose seal(s)and signature(s)appear herein. The findings,interpretations of data, <br /> recommendations,specifications or professional opinions are presented within the limits prescribed by <br /> available information at the time the report was prepared,in accordance with generally accepted <br /> professional engineering and geologic practice and within the requirements of the Client. There is no <br /> warranty,either expressed or implied. <br /> The findings of this report are based on the readily ascertainable data and information obtained from public <br /> and private sources. As of the present date,the findings of this report are valid only for the project scope <br /> studied. With the passage of time,changes in the conditions of a property can occur whether they are due <br /> to natural processes or to the works of man on this or adjacent properties. This report should be updated <br /> in accordance with applicable standards(ASTM E 1527-05,Sections 4.6 and 4.7)if it is intended for <br /> property transaction use more than 180 days after interviews,lien searches,government record reviews or <br /> site inspections have been made,or if any changes have affected the Site. Legislation or the broadening of <br /> knowledge may result in changes in applicable standards. Additional studies(at greater cost)may or may <br /> not disclose information that may significantly modify the findings of this report. We accept no liability on <br /> completeness or accuracy of the information presented and or provided to us,or any conclusions and <br /> decisions that may be made by the Client or others regarding the subject site/project. <br /> This report was prepared solely for the benefit of Carlton's Client.
