HEINZ STOCKTON FACTORY GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES FOR VISITORS <br /> Dear Visitor: <br /> Welcome to our factory. As a visitor to our facility,you should know that we must <br /> follow stringent rules regarding the safe manufacturing of your food. Therefore,we <br /> also expect you as a visitor to follow the same guidelines as our employees regarding <br /> Good Manufacturing Practices while you are in our factory. By signing in as a <br /> visitor,you are indicating your willingness to follow these guidelines. <br /> 1. Eating food, drinking beverages, chewing gum or candy is not allowed in <br /> any of our processing areas. <br /> 2. Tobacco use is not allowed in our factory, except in posted areas. <br /> 3. Spitting is not allowed within or outside of our facility, except in <br /> restrooms. <br /> 4. You must wash your hands after any restroom visit with soap and hot <br /> water,before returning to a production area. <br /> 5. You must be escorted by a Heinz employee at all times while in our <br /> facility, unless you have received permission otherwise from your escort. <br /> This is for your safety as well as that of our product. <br /> 6. No rings with stones are allowed in production. "Decorative" <br /> (additional) rings are forbidden. Necklaces bracelets,wristwatches, and <br /> earrings are also forbidden. <br /> 7. Nothing is allowed in pockets above the waist, including pens, pencils, <br /> badges, cigarettes, and notebooks. <br /> 8. No sweaters may be worn in a production area, unless covered with an <br /> appropiate work uniform. Clothes with sequins are also not allowed in <br /> our production area, unless covered with an appropriate outer garment. <br /> 9. All visitors must wear an appropriate,Heinz-issued hair restraint when <br /> in our production areas. Mustaches that extend beyond the corners of the <br /> mouth require a beard net, as do sideburns extending below the earlobe. <br /> Essentially, if you have facial hair that does not fit within the sideburn or <br /> mustache area defined above,you must wear a beard net. <br /> 10. Trash must be disposed of in an appropriate container, not on the floor. <br /> Our containers are color-coded. If in doubt, please consult the posted <br /> color-coding chart before using any container, for trash or anything else. <br /> If your business here requires that you make a mess, please clean up <br /> when you're finished. <br /> 11. You must wear all appropriate head, car, eye and foot protection that <br /> may be required for your activities.
