4 1/28/2010 STOCKTON FACTORY Dear Visitor: Welcome to our Factory. As a visitor to our facility, you should know that we must follow stringent rules regarding the safe manufacturing of your food. Therefore, we also expect you as a visitor to follow the same guidelines as our employees regarding Good Manufacturing Practices while you are at our factory. By signing in as a visitor, you are indicating your willingness to follow these guidelines. 1. No food, drinks, gum, or candy is allowed in any processing areas. 2. Tobacco use is not allowed in our factory, except in posted areas. 3. Spitting is not allowed within or outside of facility except in restrooms. If you must spit, please do so in a manner that does not expose others. 4. You must wash your hands after any visit to the restrooms. Please use soap provided and warm water. 5. You must be escorted by a Heinz employee at all times in our facility, unless you have permission from your escort. This is for your safety as well as the safety of our product. 6. No rings with stones are allowed in production. Decorative (additional) rings are forbidden. No watches, bracelets, earrings. 7. Nothing is allowed in pockets above the waist, including, but not limited to pencils, pens, badges, cigarettes, and notebooks. 8. No sweaters may be worn in a production area unless covered with an appropriate work uniform. Clothes with Sequins, glitter, and any material that can come off, must be covered with an appropriate garment. 9. All visitors are required to wear Company-issued hairnets at all times while in the production areas. Hair must be fully covered. Longer length hair should be restrained in a manner that it does not pose a safety hazard. Mustaches that extend beyond the corners of the mouth require a beard net, as do side burns extending below the ear lobe. If you have facial hair that does not fit into the sideburn or mustaches area as defined above, you must wear a beard net. 10. You must wear appropriate Head, Eye, Ear and foot protection that may be required for your activities. Your Heinz escort will be the best qualified to determine what those requirements are. 11. No wristwatches or bracelets may be worn on the wrist in a production area. All watches must be carried at or below the belt level. 12. No employee or affiliate may enter the factory with a contagious or infectious disease, or open wounds. 13. Littering is not allowed. For proper disposal areas, be sure to ask your escort prior to disposing of any trash. Thanks for helping us keep our factory in compliance, Enjoy your visit!
