TIRE DISPOSAL SOP The information below is our agreement for [)[)JC-FC to ship tires to DRMO. Upon your agreement we will use this letter as our SOP for shipment of tires to DRMO. Notification of Shipment: • [)[)JC-FC will coordinate shipment with DRMO for delivery of tires. Upon conformation of acceptance [)[)JC will ensure the below mentioned Packaging, Marking and Shipping requirements are followed. Packaging Requirements: • All pneumatic tires stretch wrapped to a shipping pallet and during the winter months will have a cardboard top to prevent rain from entering the inside of the tires. • No tires will be stacked inside other tires. All tires shipped to DRMO must be visible from the outside of the pallet for physical counting. • All solid tires will be shipped in a wooden box with no lid and banded to protect employees from container failure. Do not stack tires any higher that the top of the box. Box height should not be any higher than 36 inches. Marking Requirements: • The container will be marked with the class code, nomenclature, quantity, weight and number of containers. • A copy of the DD form 1348-1A form will be attached to the number 1 pallet. A driver's copy of the DD form 1348-1A form will be signed by DRMO confirming receipt of shipment. Shipping requirements: • Shipments from the Tracy Site: If more than 9 tires are shipped per day across public roadways the shipper will coordinate with environmental and all applicable forms and regulations will be meet. • Shipments from the Sharpe Site: No restrictions as to quantity or environmental issues at this time.
