Alfonso Arambula [EH]
From: Hackett, Jeff[Jeff.Hackett@CalRecycle.ca.gov]
Sent: Monday, October 22, 2012 4:03 PM
To: 'saulthr@att.net'
Cc: Alfonso Arambula [EH]; Rosales, Virginia; Woody, Dorothy
Subject: Waste Tire Facility Permit Application for Tire Hauler& Recyclers, TPID 1707268-01
Attachments: THR App Comment Ltr Signed 10_22_12.pdf
Hi Mr. Gomez,
Attached is a copy of a letter sent to you today regarding your application package for a New Minor
Waste Tire Facility Permit. Additional information is required before the application can be accepted as
complete and correct. The original application package is being returned to you in the mail.
CalRecycle recently received the Tire Enforcement Agency's September 27, 2012 inspection report
documenting that 500 or more waste tires were on site during the inspection. Storing 500 or more
waste tires on site may jeopardize your efforts to obtain a Minor Waste Tire Facility Permit. You are
encouraged to implement measures to ensure that less than 500 waste tires are stored on site at any
one time until a Minor Waste Tire Facility Permit is issued by CalRecycle.
Please review the comments and let me know if you have any questions or would like to meet to discuss
prior to resubmitting an application package.
Sincerely,
Jeff Hackett, Manager
Pen-nits and Assistance South Section
Pennitting and Assistance Branch
Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle)
916.341.6413
jeff.hackett2calrecycle.ca.Qov
10/31/2012
