Center St. <br /> Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> Mr. Miranda, <br /> On Monday April 131h, 2015 you contacted the City of Stockton Fire Prevention <br /> Division regarding an inspection performed by the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department dated March 24th, 2015. In that inspection form, several violations <br /> were noted along with a notice to comply or that you were to obtain approval from the <br /> City of Stockton Fire Department. After numerous visits to your business located at the <br /> above address, the following was determined: <br /> Outside Tire Storage Area <br /> • Tire storage in the outside open area is to be maintained at a height no greater <br /> than six feet. Tires shall not be stored within ten feet of a building, property line, <br /> or other combustible materials such as trees. The storage area shall be <br /> delineated permanently with paint or other approved material. <br /> • Tire storage in the non-sprinklered outdoor covered area attached to the main <br /> building is not allowed and must be removed. <br /> • Minimum equipment required shall include: <br /> o (1) 2 Y2 gallon water extinguisher or hose <br /> o (1) 10 foot long pike pole <br /> o (1) rigid rake <br /> o (1) round point shovel <br /> o (1) square point shovel <br /> Inside Tire Storage Area <br /> The current indoor tire storage area is in excess of 7500 square feet. In order to <br /> maintain tire storage in excess of 2500 square feet indoors, compliance with the 2013 <br /> California Fire Code section 3206 and all other pertinent sections shall be required. <br /> General requirements include: Automatic sprinklers throughout the building and <br /> installation of smoke and heat removal systems among other requirements. Your <br /> current building has partial sprinkler coverage, no smoke removal systems, and no fire <br /> Stockton <br /> krokell <br /> AA-Amain CRY <br /> ' IIID <br /> 1999 <br />
