Tenth Street
Tracy, CA 95376
Subject: Beck Development Company, Tracy Site, San Joaquin
County
Dear Mr . McCluskey:
On behalf of Beck Development Company, American Environmental
Management Corporation (AEMC) forwarded to us copies of their
site investigation reports covering a parcel of land in Tracy.
rhis land is owned by Beck Development and had been used during
World War II to store bunker fuel for the U.S . These
reports were forwarded to us for our review as you had directed .
Our Board ' s role is to assure that proper solid waste handling
and disposal occurs within California so as to protect the
public ' s health and safety, and the environment. The site
investigations performed by AEMC concerning this parcel of land
did not reveal that the land had ever been, nor will be, used as
a solid waste facility. Therefore, we do not have jurisdiction
in this matter, and defer review to the County Local Health
District.
If you have any questions, please call me at (916) 322-2662 .
Sincerely,
SIGNIFD AND SENT
Mary T.
