Laboratory reports are included <br /> as Appendix 2. <br /> RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> The water level elevations and the survey work done allowed AE`SC <br /> to construct a groundwater flow direction diagram, shown as <br /> Figure 3. As predicted, the groundwater flow direction is north- <br /> northwest . <br /> The results of the groundwater sample analyses showed that only <br /> one constituent, toluene , was detected in only one well, BD-3. <br /> All of the analysis reports are included as Appendix 2. <br /> Duplicate analyses were run on BD-3 and toluene was detected at <br /> 0.85 and 0.93 ppb. These concentrations are very small. They <br /> are within the area of possible laboratory background or machine <br /> noise. Figure 4 shows the analytical results as well as ground- <br /> water flow direction and locations and results of soil sampling <br /> described is our 13 October report. <br /> The DHS action level for toluene in groundwater, and the Central <br /> Valley Regional grater Quality Control Board (C'IRWQCB) suggested <br /> value for toluene to protect beneficial uses is 100 ppb.
