These levels are within the
range for background lead concentrations and well helow the California Total Thres-
hold Limit Concentration (TTLC) for lead of 1,000 mg/kg.
Remedial Action Goals for Soil
Appendix A is a copy of Table 2-1 from the LUFIF Manual. This worksheet is de-
signed to help determine if soil concentrations of BTEX, TP14-Gas, and TPH-Diesel
can be left in place without threatening groundwater quality. The East Miner location
received a worksheet score of 39 points indicating; that if soil is to be left in place,
BTEX should be nondetectable, TPH-Gas would be less than 10 mglkg, and TPG-
Diesel should be less than 100 mg/kg. These concentration levels were not exceeded in
any of the soil samples collected. The East Miner site soils therefore meet the LUFT
manual criteria and can be left in place.
st'o;iW5sR OW.s1 4-12
