1 17 August 2005 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 98-0533 <br />' Page 6 of 6 $- <br /> aK <br />' - TPH-ag and toluene were detected in the grab water sample from soil boring B-5 at <br /> concentrations of 54 ug/1 and 1 6 ug/l,respectively,toluene was detected in the water sample <br /> from B-6 at 1 0 ug/l <br />' - Depth to ground water at the site averaged approximately 7183 feet bsg on 31 May 2002 <br /> The ground water elevation averaged approximately 14 89 feet below mean sea level and <br />' flowed toward the north-northeast under an average gradient of 0 0007 ft/ft <br /> - Toluene was detected in the water sample from MW-1 and MW-2 at concentrations of 1 1 <br /> ug/l and 15 ug/l, respectively No additional petroleum hydrocarbon compounds were <br /> tdetected in ground water samples from the monitoring wells and the domestic well <br /> - Based on laboratory analysis of soil samples collected, the vertical extent of petroleum <br />' hydrocarbon-impacted soil is essentially defined at B-5 and B-6 <br /> The lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted ground water appears to be defined, <br /> with the exception of low concentrations of TPH-ag detected in Boring B-5, and toluene <br />' detected in boring B-5 and B-6 and wells MW-1 and MW-2 Toluene detected is below the <br /> State of California's Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) <br /> lie <br /> 6.0. RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report, AGE recommends <br /> - Continued quarterly monitoring of the on-site ground water monitoring wells and domestic <br /> well The next monitoring event should be performed in August 2005 <br /> 7.0.
