1 17 August 2005
AGE-NC Project No 98-0533
aK
' - TPH-ag and toluene were detected in the grab water sample from soil boring B-5 at
concentrations of 54 ug/1 and 1 6 ug/l,respectively,toluene was detected in the water sample
from B-6 at 1 0 ug/l
' - Depth to ground water at the site averaged approximately 7183 feet bsg on 31 May 2002
The ground water elevation averaged approximately 14 89 feet below mean sea level and
' flowed toward the north-northeast under an average gradient of 0 0007 ft/ft
- Toluene was detected in the water sample from MW-1 and MW-2 at concentrations of 1 1
ug/l and 15 ug/l, respectively No additional petroleum hydrocarbon compounds were
tdetected in ground water samples from the monitoring wells and the domestic well
- Based on laboratory analysis of soil samples collected, the vertical extent of petroleum
' hydrocarbon-impacted soil is essentially defined at B-5 and B-6
The lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted ground water appears to be defined,
with the exception of low concentrations of TPH-ag detected in Boring B-5, and toluene
' detected in boring B-5 and B-6 and wells MW-1 and MW-2 Toluene detected is below the
State of California's Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL)
lie
6.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report, AGE recommends
- Continued quarterly monitoring of the on-site ground water monitoring wells and domestic
well The next monitoring event should be performed in August 2005
7.0. LIMITATIONS
' Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon field
' measurements and analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the
geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a
limited number of available data points(i a soil borings and ground water samples)and subsurface
conditions may vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made
as to the professional recommendations contained in this report
1
i
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
