• 15 November 200 l
AGE-NC Project No 98-0533
Analytical results of ground water samples are summarized on Table 3 The laboratory report(MAI
ILab I D No 75684 through 75687) and chain.-of-custody forms are included in Appendix B
5.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based upon data collected from the site, AGE concludes
e Depth to ground water at the site averaged 75 3 feet bsg on 22 August 2001
• On 22 August 2001 the ground water elevation in the monitored area averaged 18 34 feet
below mean sea level, the flow direction was inferred to be,toward the northwest under a
gradient of 0 002 ft/ft
0 TPH-ag and toluene were detected in the ground water sample from MW-1 and MW-2, the
presence ofTPH-ag and toluene in MW-I after several quarters of non detect may be due to
' the recent change in ground water flow direction towards the northwest
The concentrations of toluene in the ground water sample from MW-1 (2 8 µg/1)and MW-2
(2 7 µg/1)were less than California's Maximum Contaminant Level (150 µg/1)
A Petroleum hydrocarbon products were not detected in samples from monitoring well MW-3
or domestic well DW-1
6.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
AGE recently submitted a work plan to install two additional soil bonngs to the south and southeast
of monitoring well MW2 (Figure 2) to venfy the lateral extent of the contamination, the work plan
has been approved by the PHS-EHD and the work is anticipated to occur during the fourth quarter
of 2001
7.0. LIMITATIONS
IOur professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon field
I measurements and analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the
hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited
number of available data points (i a ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may vary
away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied,is made as to the professional
• recommendations contained in this report
Advanced GeoEnviranmentai,Inc
