INTRODUCTION
In accordance with the request of Mr Robert Kupka of Lodi Airport,Advanced GeoEnvironmental;
Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 23987 North Highway 99,
Acampo, California (site) The scope of work included quarterly ground water monitoring and
preparation of this report The location of the site and the immediately surrounding area are
' illustrated on Figure 1, structures, former UST locations, and soil boring and monitoring well
locations are Illustrated on Figure 2 Background Information is summarized in Preliminary Site
Assessment Work Plan dated 23 February 2000 and Underground Storage Tank Removal Report
' dated I 1 January 2000, both prepared by AGE
f I
' 2.0. PROCEDURES
' The work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County PHS-EHD and California Regional
Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region guidelines for sampling ground water
monitoring wells and investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites
2 1 - MONITORING,WELL PURGE PROCEDURES
IOn 17 November 2000, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water
in all three monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings After the depth-to-ground water
measurements were collected, the monitoring wells were purged using a polyvinyl chloride(PVC)
bailer(MW-3 was purged with a two-stage submersible pump) Approximately 6 gallons of water
were evacuated from each of the monitoring wells, equivalent to three casing-water volumes per
Iwell
Temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at 2-gallon intervals, using an ICM model 52200
' water analyzer to monitor pH, temperature and conductivity of the purged water The field data are
summarized in tables in Appendix A_, along with the field data logs,Purged water was temporanly
stored on-si;te in 55-gallon drums -
` 2 2 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
IWater sam 'les were collected from each monitoring well using new disposable bailers after allowing
the wells to achieve a minimum 80% recovery of the pre-purge water volume The samples were
Itransferred into laboratory-supplied 40-m1 EPA-approved VOA vials containing 0 5 ml 18%
hydrochloric acid as a sample preservative The sample vials were then labeled with the monitoring
well designation, date, time of sampling and the sampler's initials The samples were transported in
a chilled container under chain of custody to McCampbell Analytical, Inc (MAS, a California
Iadvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
