r a t '.� 10 January 2001 AGE-NC Project No 98-0533 " ' Page 5 of 6 ' -43 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SOIL SAMPLES High TPH-ag concentrations were detected in soil samples B-1-25' and B-3-5' at 1,100 milligrams ' per kilogram(mg/kg)and 2,100 mg/kg,respectively,detectable concentrations ofTPH-ag were also found In B-3-15' (1 5 mg/kg) and B-3-25' (15 mg/kg) BTEX compounds were detected above laboratory reporting limits in the soil samples B-1-25',B-3-5',B-3-15',and B-3-25,'at concentrations ' as high as 38 mg/kg (xylenes in B-1-25') MTBE was detected in B-3-15' at 0 097 mg/kg Analytical results of soil samples are summanzed on Table 2 The laboratory report(MAI Lab I D ' No 41271 through 41289) and chain-of-custody forms are included in Appendix C I4 4 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF WATER SAMPLES ' TPH-ag was detected in water samples from MW-1,and MW-2 at concentrations of 100 micrograms per liter(ug/1), and 290 ug/l respectively BTEX compounds were detected,in the sample from MW-2 at concentrations as high as 11 ug/l ' (toluene) Benzene was detected at a concentration of 0 58 ug/1 from the MW-2 sample Toluene was detected In samples taken from MW-1 (3 4 ug/1) and B-2W-75'-80' (0 75 ug/1) Xylenes were also ' detected in B-2W-75'-80' (0 67 ug/1) MTBE was detected only in the sample from MW-2, at a concentration of 1 6 ug/1 Analytical results of ground water samples are summarized on Table 3 The laboratory report(MAI Lab I D No 42072 through 42074 and 41661 - for DW-1)and cham-of-custody forms are included Iin Appendix C I5.0 SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS Based upon data collected from the site, AGE concludes • Depth to ground water at the site averaged approximately 72 2 feet bsg on 05 July 2000 • On 05 July 2000 the ground water elevation at the site averaged approximately 15 3 feet V below mean sea level and flowed toward the southeast under an average gradient of 0 022 ft/ft I0 TPH-ag and BTEX compounds were detected in soil samples from B-1 (MW-1) and B-3 (MW-2) at condentrations as high as 2,100 mg/kg, MTBE was detected in B-3 Petroleum hydrocarbons were not detected in B-2 or B-4 (MW-3) IAdvanced CeoEmiranmental,Inc
