The sample <br /> labels had the date, sampler's name, sample identification <br /> number, and well number. The samples were delivered to the <br /> laboratory within 24 hours after sampling. Copies of the chain- <br /> of-custody documents are in Appendix "A" . <br /> Duplicate water samples were collected during purging of <br /> monitoring well No. 1 by Mr. Dan Ward of the WQCB. He stated <br /> that the samples would be analyzed for metals , purgeable <br /> hydrocarbons, acid and base-neutral extractable hydrocarbons. <br /> The water samples for Kleinfelder and the WQCB were collected at <br /> approximately the same time. <br /> For quality assurance, a field blank and blind duplicate were <br /> collected. The field blank was prepared using steam distilled <br /> water. The blind duplicate was prepared using water from moni- <br /> toring well No. 1. Sample information identifying sample numbers <br /> and types and well numbers, for samples retained by Kleinfelder <br /> and the WQCB are in Table 3. <br />
