_-' ENVIRONEERING INC.
V;iv Process Engineering, Water Reuse, and Accident Prevention
April 9, 2010
Mr. R. Von Flue
Environmental Health Department
San Joaquin County
600 E. Main Street
Stockton, CA 95202-2708
Dear Mr. Von Flue:
APR 12 cu.0
ENVIRONMENT HEALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
This will confirm our telephone conversation on 4/5/10, in which I advised you
that California Tank Lines had removed the two cone bottom tanks from the
pretreatment system at their S. El Dorado St. terminal, and would proceed to
empty them of solids, prior to removing the tanks from the containment area. The
solids will, of course, be disposed of in keeping with applicable regulations.
Meanwhile, Environeering will proceed to prepare a Tank and Containment
Assessment covering the remaining wastewater storage tanks and containment
area. Before this can be completed, however, a few modifications to the piping
and containment walls must be made. The tanks are anchored as required to meet
seismic requirements, so this short delay will not present a risk to employees or
neighbors.
Thank you for your patience and understanding of this situation. We will advise
you immediately should anything arise to delay completion of this assessment.
Sincerely,
,4-e/V .
P. .
G. W. Roy,
c.c. Jack Bishop
P. O.
