Tank Assessment rage Tank Name: Cone Bottom WW Tank
Tank ages: Purchased new in 2016,
Remaining service life: Estimated 20 years.
Tank Construction:
Shape: Cylindrical, cone bottoms.
Orientation: Vertical-
Location: Above Ground.
Material of Construction, High Density Linear Polyethylene
Thickness: 0.537"measured C"below the toy,of the tank, using an ultrasunic gage. All tank thickness
measurements were made by a technician with 20 yrs. experience using an ultrasonic gage to measure
thickness of DDT cargo tanks for the Highway patrol. The gage used in this case was a TM8810 with 5
MHz 8mm dual element probe.
Lining material and thickness.NA
Corrosion protection equipment: NA
Structural support: Steel support stand for cone bottom tank.
Other identifying features: Seamless, One Piece Construction, Natural, rotationally molded.
Equipped with level control to prevent overflow(steps feed on high level)-
Piping and ancillary equipment(pumps):
Piping Material of Construction: Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC').
Piping Diameter: 3 in
Pump iac.ttion: within secondary containment area.
Pump typelcapacity, hose pump-40 gFm
Feed pipes in 90 ft, long impervious trench from food grade wash rack, and in cont. area from chemical
wash rack, are visually monitored while system is in operation. In addition, the impervious trench is
equipped with a level indicator at the law point to detect leaks, as are the pre-neutralLa r(area 1)and
final neutralizer areas, All pipes are hydrostatically tested at b psi semi-annually.
Material Storage.-
Materials
torage:Materials and characteristics: Wastewater with pH between 1 and 13.
Specific Gravity: approx, 1.
Operating Capacity: 7400 lions-
Chemicni couipatibility findings: The materials identified above arc: compatible for contact with or proximity
to the equipment, tank or tank system in this assessment, Initials:Q-7
j
Visual Inspection_
Tank parameters at time of inspection: three in use.
Acute visual evidence of leaks: not}e.
Cundition of interior surfave: good
Condition of exterior surface: good-
Condition of nozzles, flanges, fittings at tank_ gond.
Condition of piping: good.
Visual Inspection findings: A visual inspection of the tank and its affiliated pumps, piping and ancillary
equipment did notreveal signs of leaks, corrosion, weld cracks or breaks,or serapes in protective coating which
may cause a release from the tank system. Adcscription of all discrepancies noted during the visual inspection
is included with this report. Initials: 4r 6-
California Tank lines, Inc, Wastewater Processing Tanks (3)
