EXISTING <br /> Section Five; Setbacks and Structure Standards — 5.4 Buildi-ng to Building Setbacks <br /> 1. Attached Dwelling Units: No building-to-building setback is required for attached <br /> units, provided building code requirements are met. <br /> 2. Building-to-Building: Where two residential structures are not attached,the setback <br /> from habitable structure to habitable structure shall be a minimum of 8 feet. <br /> a. Non-habitable portions of the residential structure, such as (but not limited to) <br /> chimneys, media niches, eaves or other projections may encroach into this setback. <br /> b. The separation between residential structures including (but not limited to) <br /> chimneys, media niches, eaves, etc., shall conform to building code <br /> requirements. <br /> 3. Shared Drives: Setbacks from building to building on the 1st floor across a shared <br /> drive shall be a minimum of 30 feet. <br /> 4. Shared Drives: Shared drives shall maintain a zone clear of obstructions a minimum <br /> of 20feetwtcie and 13.5' high. <br /> 5. Paseos: Setbacks from building to building where buildings front on to each other <br /> across a pedestrian paseo shall be a minimum of 25' (excluding covered porches, <br /> balconies, fenced or walled courtyards, bay w;mdows, eaves, media niches, <br /> chimneys or other projections from the main building), No fences, walls or other <br /> structures appurtenant to private dwellings may be constructed within a zone a <br /> minimum of 10' wide along the paved pedestrian path in said paseo. <br /> 6. Paseos: Setbacks from building to building where a building fronts on to the side of <br /> another building across a pedestrian paseo shall be a minimum of 20' (excluding <br /> covered porches, balconies, fenced or walled courtyards, bay windows, eaves, <br /> media niches, chimneys or other projections from the main building).
