EXISTING <br /> Section Six: Linear Park - 6.1 Introduction <br /> A Linear Park,which includes a multi-use trail and a 230 kV PG&E transmission line and easement, <br /> bisects the northern portion of the Cassano Kamilos Homes at College Park project area, and forms <br /> the eastern boundary for the southern portion. This open space feature isa major project amenity, <br /> providing for passive and active recreational usesfor residents and visitors. The Linear Park also will <br /> provide a convenient way for project and area residents to travel to local destinations by means <br /> otherthan automobiles, A multi-usetrail will be included on a portion of Prosperity Street south of the <br /> project area, tying the Neighborhood D Linear Park into a system of trails leading to a number of <br /> services and recreational amenities within the Mountain House New Town (see Figure 6.1, Linear <br /> Park Connections.) <br /> The Linear Park parcel north of Teixeira Avenue is approximately 2.0 acres, south of Teixeira <br /> Avenue,there are approximately 2.6 net acres of Linear Park within the project area, with another <br /> 0.5 acres, more or less, expected to be included from the D5 and D6 sub-neighborhoods, Total net <br /> acreage of the Linear Park north of Grant Line Road is expected to be approximately 5 acres.
