Airport Blvd., Stockton, CA 95206
Geotracker Global ID#T0607700159, EHD Site Code: 1845
Dear Mr. Gonzalez:
On behalf of the Stockton Metropolitan Airport, Chevron Environmental Management Company,
and A.G. Spanos Companies, Ramage Environmental, Inc. is pleased to submit to the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department(EHD) this work plan to complete monitoring well
destruction and site restoration tasks at the subject site. EHD requested this work plan in their letter
dated April 16, 2015.
Planning and Permittingy
To complete the well destruction scope of work, Ramage Environmental will obtain a well
destruction permit from the EHD, on behalf of the drilling contractor. Since all of the site wells are
on property owned by the Stockton Metropolitan Airport, neither private property access
agreements nor encroachment permits will be required.
At least one week prior to beginning the well destruction field work, Ramage Environmental will
contact EHD and Underground Service Alert (USA) so that regulatory and underground utility
clearance inspections can be scheduled.
Destruction of Groundwater Monitorinsz Wells
A C-57 licensed drilling contractor (driller), under the supervision of Ramage Environmental and
inspection of EHD, will properly destroy the eight groundwater table monitoring wells(MW-1
through MW-8). The locations of the monitoring wells are shown on the attached site location map
(Figure 1) and site plan (Figure 2).
The eight site monitoring wells were last sampled on April 16, 2014. The analytical results from
the groundwater sampling indicated that only MW-7 and MW-8 did not contain any petroleum
compounds at concentrations above laboratory reporting limits. The cumulative groundwater
analytical results are summarized in the attached table.
