Mr Kirk Moon -3- July 16, 1990
USC, Stockton
TPCA Annual and Initial Fees
The TPCA requires that owners/operators pay fees to cover the cost incurred by
the Board in administering the TPCA. The State Board adopted a schedule for
payment of initial fees and annual fees. At this time, USC is responsible for
two fees: (1) an initial fee of $1,500.00, and (2) a 1990-1991 annual fee of
$3,000.00. This letter is the official notice that TPCA fees are due and
payable as required by Section 25208.3(e) , H&SC. The total amount due is
$4,500.00. A penalty of 1% per day up to a maximum to 100% will begin to
accumulate if fees are not submitted within 60 days of receipt of this notice.
Instructions for payment of the initial fee and annual fee are provided on the
enclosed form entitled "Hazardous Waste Surface Impoundment Fee Transmittal "
If you or your consultants have any questions regarding compliance with TPCA
requirements or you wish to schedule a meeting concerning the closure
requirements, please contact James Brathovde at (916) 361-5738.
GREG K.
