MORRIS ENGINEERING & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br /> CONSULTING ENGINEERS <br /> Tank Assessment Checklist: Tank T3 <br /> Tank Name: Filter Press <br /> Approximate Date of Construction: 11983 <br /> Design Standards Industry Practice at Time of Construction <br /> Approximate Dimensions: 93"Long x 22"Wide x 48"High <br /> Tank Configuration: Horizontal <br /> Approximate Gross Capacity: 28 gallons(in trough below) <br /> Material of Construction: FSteel Frame with Polypropylene Plates <br /> Approximate Tank Wall Thickness: 3/16"(estimated measurement for trough) <br /> Tank System Piping: See Pipe Summary <br /> Internal/External Pumps: No permanent pumps in place <br /> Leak Detection Equipment: Visual Observation <br /> Corrosion Protection Equipment: Steel is covered with a corrosion resistant paint,no additional <br /> corrosion protection equipment. <br /> Spill Prevention Equipment: Filter Press is within a secondary containment area ofsufficient <br /> capacity to contain any tank spills, no additional spill prevention <br /> equipment <br /> Secondary Containment: Epoxy Coated Concrete Berm,See Containment Summary for <br /> Evaluation <br /> Hazardous Characteristics of Waste: Currently tank does act store or treat hazardous wastes, however <br /> in the future it may be processing a Zinc-Phosphate solution. <br /> Description of Structural Damage: The press was observable from the exterior and no structural <br /> damage was noticed. The filter press plates appeared to be in good <br /> condition. <br /> Results of Leak Test: No leak test was performed. <br /> Foundation: Filter Press was installed on a concrete slab-on-grade and appears <br /> to be adequately supported as there were no signs of cracking or <br /> settlement around the tank. <br /> Seismic Anchors: Seismic anchors were present and the press was bolted to the <br /> ground.
