Open the Filter Press by turning the control switches on the <br /> Filter Press Console to "HYDRAULICS OFF" , "PRESS OPEN" , "AIR <br /> OFF" . At this time , slide back the filters, one by one , and <br /> remove the "CAKE" , using the furnished poly scrapers . Care must <br /> be taken so you do not damage the fabric filters . <br /> ' 12 . When all of the "CAKE" has been removed, close the filter <br /> press by turning the control switches to "AIR ON" , "PRESS CLOSE" , <br /> "HYDRAULICS ON" . <br /> 13. With the Filter Press "CLOSED" , repeat items 9 through 12 <br /> until the Zinc Phosphate Tank is empty . On the last load, the <br /> I operator should flush out the sludge line and pump using clean <br /> water, furnished at the Sludge Pump . Close the valve going into <br /> the Sludge Pump from the Zinc Phosphate Tank and open the fresh <br /> I water valve and allow the Sludge Pump to operate for a period of <br /> approximately 2 minutes . <br /> 14 . After the tank, is empty of sludge , the operator should lower <br /> I the special barrel that was made specially for the Zinc Phosphate <br /> Scale , into the tank using the overhead hoist . Using a soft <br /> hammer, knock any remaining scale loose from the plate heat <br /> I exchangers and scoop up with a shovel and deposit the scale into <br /> the special barrel . When all of the scale is picked up, remove <br /> the barrel from the tank and deposit the contents into the "ROLL <br /> IOFF BIN" that is assigned to go to the recyclers . <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> 8 <br />
