The scope of work includes 1) generating a site safety plan 2) <br /> drilling five soil borings using a geoprobe, and 3) reporting our findings. The scope of work is designed to <br /> i address site conditions since the removal of two 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks (USTs) and one <br /> 6,000-gallon UST in December of 1998, and to ascertain whether site closure is warranted or further remedial <br /> 1 steps are necessary. The proposed drilling locations are shown on Figure 2. Analytical results for soil samples <br /> a <br /> collected during the UST removal are summarized in Table 1 !I <br /> I SITE HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN/PERMITTING <br /> The Health and Safety plan has been prepared by IT Corporation as required by the Occupational Safety and <br /> Health Administration (OSHA)Standard"Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response"guidelines <br /> +� li <br /> (29 CFR 1910.120). The plan will be reviewed and signed by all IT Corporation personnel/subcontractors <br /> performing work on the site.
