Soil samples were collected tinder the USTs at 14 <br /> feet below surface grade(bsg)and evidenced gasolino and MTBE <br /> contannnation, A groundwater investigation was required. EHD filed an <br /> Unauthorized Release Report #89-451 for a failed UST system precision <br /> test in 1989. <br /> . 12-15-98 Soil samples were collected from the 450 cubic yards of soil removed <br /> from the tank excavation. Soil disposal was at Belshire Environmental. <br /> 06-18-99 Five push probes were advanced to 15 feet bsg and water grab samples <br /> werecollected The northwest edge of the former UST area had the most <br /> impact of contaminants(OP-3) <br /> 08-13-99 Date of the report covering June 1999 work <br /> 12-21-99 Three monitoring wells were installed this date. They have been sampled <br /> on a Quarterly schedule, <br /> 02-22-00 Date of the report covering the monitoring well installations <br /> 03-20-02 CVRWQCB recommended additional soil and groundwater investigation <br /> north of the known source area to further define the limits of the MTBE, <br /> Two additional push probes (GP-6, GP-7)were completed to 18 feet bsg. <br /> No contaminants were found above the detection limits used in the testing <br /> of the soil and groundwater samples <br /> 04-24-02 Date of the report covering the Manch 2002 work- <br /> 07-25-02 Date of the Shaw Group report Requesting Site Closure. <br /> 06-17-03 CVRWQCB and EHD staff visited site and viewed the monitoring well <br /> and former UST locations Site will be considered for closure <br />
