j.1 TT4M A: SCHUCS Y
Dennis L. Fields
Page 2
July 14, 2000 -
Mr. Badway continues to be confused as to the unit of measure you contend is applicable to
Carbon Dioxide. You mention in the reports only the size of cylinders measured in pounds.
2.1 Is the salient unit pounds (as indicated in your reports) or cubic feet at standard
pressure and temperature as alleged by Mr. Irey?
2.2 If the unit is cubic feet, how many cubic feet were present at each location at the time
of your July 12, 2000inspection?. -
2,2,1 What method was used to obtain the number, if any, you provided in response
to question number 2.2 above?
Nothing in the reports indicate any violation of regulations or law or that any regulatory
requirements are triggered by the quantity on hand.
2.3 Did you find any such violations or triggers?
Since you clearly have very substantial resources (three people to look at a tank!), we would
anticipate a prompt and forthcoming written response to this letter.
Yours very truly,
WILLIAM A.
