Proprietary Pizza Corporation, et al.
Dear Al:
Just a quick follow up to your correspondence dated April 27, 2000. Pursuant to your
request, I will allow Mr. Badway twenty (20) days from April 27, 2000 to file a responsive
pleading with the court. I am perplexed as to why your client broke his agreement with this
office. Your letter erroneously mentions some proposal from this office. That statement is
incorrect, we had an agreement pursuant to negotiations. The only steps left were for your client
to come into compliance with the law and sign the agreement. In my twelve years with this
office that is only the third time I shook hands on a deal and it was recalled.
Thank you for your attempts to settle this case quickly and inexpensively for your client.
His answer will be due May 17, 2000,
Sincerely,
OFFICE OF THE DIS'>dCT ATTORNEY
DAVID J.Z
Deputy DistAttom
Environmental Prosecutions Unit
